MEET DANI

Dani is a registered nurse with over 10 years of experience supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and the early newborn period. She has worked at Lurie Children’s Hospital and in Labor & Delivery at Highland Park, where she currently supports families in the Special Care Nursery. There she has the privilege of helping parents gain confidence as they care for their babies during a vulnerable and meaningful time. In addition to bedside care, she teaches the Prenatal Lactation 101 class for Endeavor Health, helping families prepare proactively for feeding and the transition home. 

As a mother who has breastfed all of her children, she deeply understands the real-world challenges, emotions, and ups and downs that come with feeding a baby. That lived experience shapes how she shows up for her patients—with empathy, practicality, and reassurance.

Her approach is collaborative and family-centered. She works closely with each family to set realistic, supportive goals that align with their values and circumstances—because there is no one-size-fits-all path.

Outside of work, she loves cooking, spending time with her husband and four children, staying active, playing sports with her kids, and skiing whenever they can get away.
